The Canadian swimming team for the Empire Games is as follows:— Men: Bob Pirie, 220 and 440 yards; Bob Hooper, 200 and 440 yards; Gordon Devlin, 100 and 220 yards; George Burleigh, 100 and 200 yards. All of the above are free-style swimmers, while Jim Prentice is chosen for the 220 yards breast-stroke.
