TOURNEY RESULTS tPer Press Association). DUNEDIN, August 23. The annual tournament of the South Island primary Schools at Associatipn football was commenced at Logan Park to-day. Six teams were entered in two sections, heavyweight and bantam-weight, the teams including tw<j>, one in each grade, from Canterbury. In previous years teams have also competed from the West Coast, but on this occasion it was found impossible to make the trip, and accordingly extra teams were entered by Otago to make the competition more interesting. Results:— Bantams: Otago B defeated Otago A by 1 goal Jo 0. Heavy-weights: Canterbury beat Otago A by 4 goals to 1; Otago B, a. bye.
