BIG PLANE TO SEARCH Did They Reach America ? [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received August 19, at 10 p.m.) -NEW YORK, August 18. Mechanics are working feverishly to prepare a huge flying boat in which Sir H. Wilkins, Hollick and Kenyon are to search for the Soviet fliers. , The Alaskan weather is still hampering the searchers. The only clue, so far supplied is frpm Eskimos on Barter Island, 300 miles from Barrow. They said that they heard the roar of engines four or five days ago. This raises the possibility that the fliers may have reached North America..
