The Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday 22ft lOin.

The Kaimiro, for Auckland and Portland, sails early this morning. She returns about August 26, to again load for Aucklad and Portland. The Gael sailed yesterday for Hokitika.

The Karu from Wellington arrive in the road stead last evening and will berth to-day to load for Petone Welington and Miramar. The Kaimai left Wellington on Friday evening for Westport and Greymouth, with cargo, and will complete loading here this afternoon, for Wellington and Miramar. The Alexander is due on Wednesday from Tarakohe, with cement, and will load coal for return to Tarakohe. The Hokitika is expected to leave Wellington to-morrow night, with cargo for Greymouth and Hokitika. The James Cook is due on August 23, with Australian cargo, and after disccharge, will -load timber for Sydney. The Poolta is due about August 23, from Gisborne, to load for Wellington and Miramar. The Titoki has been delayed at Wanganui, and is now due to-mor-row afternoon, to load coal and timber for Picton. The Alexander loads cement at Tarakohe to-morrow, for Greymouth direct, and is due on Wednesday, to load coal for return to Tarakohe.
