Miss Badcock and Mrs Van Ryn defeated Miss Jedrzejowska and Miss Bundy 6/1, 6/3. Mako and Budge defeated Cooke and Buxby 6/2, 6/3. RYE, August 14. At the tennis tourney, in the women’s final, Miss Jedrzejowska defeated Miss Marble 7/5, 6/4. In the men’s semi-finals, Parker beat Shields 12/10, 1/6, 6/4; Rigg beat Hunt 6/3, 4/6, 6/4, 3/6, 6/3. In the doubles Budge and Mako beat McDiarmid and Hendrix 6/1, 6/2, 6/2; Parker and Shields beat Wetherell and Kamrath 2/6, 6/1, 6/3, 6/3.
