THREE MEN FINED £lO5. LPer Press Association], WELLINGTON, August 13. In the Petone Police Court, Ernest. Owen Oliver, a hairdresser, of Petone; Ernest. Armstrong Plummer, a saloon-keeper, of Upper Hutt; and John Purvis, an agent, of Trentham, were convicted on charges of keeping premises as a common gaming house. Fines totalling £lO5 were imposed. The cases resulted from a raid made yesterday afternoon. WANGANUI FINES. WANGANUI, August 13.
