MARTHA. AUCKLAND, August 12. The following information has been cabled to the London office of the iJlartha Gold Mining Company (Waihi) Ltd.: “For the period ended July 31, comprising 22 crushing days, 18,573 tons of ore. were crushed for a result of 5441 fine ounces of gold and 24,886 fine ounces of silver. This includes 1965 tons mined from the Grand Junction area, which yielded 484 fine [ounces of gold and 1466 fine ounces |of silver. No. 2 level, north branch of Martha lode: In crosscus at 200 ft. west driving east. Next 37ft assays 13/3 a ton, the lode being about three feet six inches wide. No. 6 level, north branch of Martha lode: West of Espier crosscut next 27ft of driving is ore of good grade, about two feet six inches wide.”
