CYCLE WORKERS. I Per Press Association!. WELLINGTON, August 12. The Dominion cycle workers’ dispute is before the Conciliation Council, to-day. The minimum rate wages claimed is 2/8 an hour, and the employers’ offer is 2/3, with 1/- a day extra for oxy-acetylene and electric welding, against a claim of 1/6. Of 238 employers cited, 76 are in Canterbury, 56 in Otago and Southland, and just over 60 in the North Island.
