Considerable interest is attached to Signor Cerutti’s visit to Premier Chautemps, who was informed of the Italian Government’s view that the improvement in Anglo-Italian relations should be followed by better Franco-Italian relations. This indicates that Mussolini has abandoned his recent policy of seeking to separate Britain and France.
