67TH. CASE
Infantile Paralysis MELBOURNE EPIDEu W [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Received August 10, 11.35 p.m.) MELBOURNE, August 10. The first death of an adult in the infantile epidemic occurred to-day, the victim being a man of twenty-eight years. There were three new cases to-day. These bring the total to sixty-seven. There have now been seven deaths. To-day’s developments included a ban on all picture matinees in the metropolitan area, and the exclusion of all children under sixteen from the theatres.
