BRUNNER NOTES

(Our Own Correspondent). A very pretty wedding was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth, on Saturday afternoon, when Zona, eldest daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. T. Kerr, Taylorville, was united to Harold, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Browning, Waikaka, Southland. The Rev. W. Marks officiated. The bride entered the Church on the arm of her brother, Mr. W. Kerr, and was attired in a gown of pale blue net designed on modern lines, with gold lame hat and accessories to tone. Miss Norma Kerr attended her sister as bridesmaid, wearing a shell pink net frock similar to the bride’s, and a coronet of pastel shaded flowers and gold accessories to tone. The flower girl, Miss Daisy Middleton, wore a pastel green net frock and she carried a little posy to tone. . Mr. J. Browning, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. A guard of honour at the Church was formed by the Taylorville Basketball Girls, of which the bride was a former member. The reception was held at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. F. Clark, Herbert Street, where Mrs. Kerr received her guests wearing a bottle green woollen ensemble and biege trimmings and hat to. tone. The happy? couple left later by the rail-car for Christchurch. The bride travelled in a black tailored costume and hat .with an eyeveil, and carried a navy astrachan coat. Their future home will be in Waikaka. Southland.
