There have been record attendances,totalling 375,000, at the British industries fair, an increase of ten thousand over last year. The actual business was most gratifying. The demand at home and abroad for Australian dried fruits is computed to have been one hundred per cent, higher. It is estimated that sales of samples of Australian and New Zealand dairy produce increased threefold, and that inter-Empire buying was more widespread.
