ENGLISH BYE-ELECTION

Polling takes p’ace next Thursday in the liy-election in t'he Lewes Division of Sussex, and. the Prime Minister addressed a letter to the Com-cr-vative candidale, stating: “You can point to the great progress made in 'he development of our social services under the National Government.
