English Team MARYBOROUGH MATCH. (Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received June 15. nt 10.15 p.m.) BRISBANE. June 15. The English Rugby League touring team to-day defeated Wide Bay District representatives at Maryborough, by 35 points to 8. There was a record crowd and the gate takings amounted to .£330.
Despite tho loss of Edwards. Ellerington and Bt'lshaw, who were injured, the visitors showed an almost impregnable defence, and brilliant combined bursts of passing.
Tries were scored for England by Bclshaw (three), Risman. Atkinson. MeLure and Exley. Risman kicked seven goals. Bullock and Fisher scored for Wide 'Bav, and King kicked a goal.
