TECHNICAL SCHOOL SPORTS.
The annual cross-country race, held in connection with the school sports, was run off at the Greymouth Technical High School on Thursday, and was enthusiastically entered into by the students, 126 out of the 135 boys at the school taking part. Although the weather was fine, the track was heavy. The race was run in two divisions. the results being as follow; Junior: K. Seebeek and G. Forrest, equal 1; D. Detert e 3; D. Stewart 4. Time IGmin. 27 4-5 secs.( Record, R. Mclntyre 1935, 15min. 16 2-5 sees). Senior: C. Hector 1, C. Davy 2, R. Watson 3. A Henderson 4. D. Smith 5 Time 15min. 38 4-5 secs. (Record C. Hector, 1935, 13min. 44 4-5 sees.)
