AUSTRALIANS AT TORONTO. (Received May 8 at 5.5 p.m.) TORONTO, May 7. <T. Crawford and A. Quist defeated V. McGrath and J. Sproule in a threeset exhibition doubles match at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club to-day by 6/2, 3/6, 6/3. The re-playing match was interrupted by rain. Yesterday Crawford, defeated Quist 7/5, G/3. It was the most brilliantly played match seen here for many years. Tn the first set Crawford took a 5/1 lead, only to have Quist pull up to 5/5. Crawford had to light hard .for the two winning games. The second set was also hard fought, with the games going to 3/3, before Crawford ran out with three straight games.
