(Our Own Correspondent.) The weather for the past few days has not been of the best, -with plenty of rain and wind, and conditions wijre unfavourable to-day for the Winter Show here. A dance was held in the Public Hall on Saturday night last to entertain the visiting footballers from Wataroa and Weheka. Airs. J. Diedrich, who has been here On a visit from Auckland, returns this week. Air. Hunt, who has been on an extended visit here, returns to the North Island this week. Mr. and Airs. Blackman, who have been on a visit to Greymouth, have returned. Miss K. Adamson, who has been on a visit to Hokitika, returned at the week-end. Mr. A. Emmett, who passed away
