NEAR WELLINGTON For 60 k.w. Station (Per Presses Assneinfion > WELLINGTON, July 31. The New Zealand Btro-adcasting Board is completing negotiations with he Porirua College Trust Board lor the purchase of 160 acres of land at Titahi Bay as the site for a 60 kilowatt transmitter. Tes's by the board’s engineers have led to the selection of this site, which possesses >a number of advantages over any other area in the vicinity of Wellington. It is nn the coast, and has a favourable radio outlook in all directions. The site i s 15 miles from Wellington.
