Championship Table The following table gives the position of teams in the Buller Rugby Union Competitions;

Rugby Union Meeting. At the usual weekly meeting of the Management committee of the Buller Rugby Union, the following decisions were arrived at:

That H. Bentley, G. Mcßride, J. Stewart and J. McFarlane be added to Ranger junior list and G. Stuart to Ranger senior list. That A. Hay-McKenzie be added to White Star junior list. That protest from Old Boy juniors against Pirates be held over and Pirates be asked for explanation re their playing of Hannah. That Karamea Sub-Union be advised that this Union will meet nt any time their representative, said member to attend a Management Committee niectThe letters from Otago, South Canterbury, North Otago and Canterbury confirming date for Buller tour be referred to special committee dealing with same. That referee R. Webster be written to for a report on conditions of ground at Denniston last week. That all clubs be advised that when lin doubt regrading playing of fixtures and weather being unsuitable, they apply to Union Secretary for a ruling on same. That all clubs be instructed to advise their players that in future when players are selected in representative matches that they must give notice in writing three days before the match that they are unavailable, failing notice being received, said players be not considered for future rep. matches.

That the Borough Council be forwarded a letter of thanks in appreciation of their decision to erect flood lights at one end of Victoria Square and by doing so assisting e’ulis in the l coaching of their players.
