The management committee of the New South Wales .Rugby Union expressed its willingness to comply with the New Zealand Union’s request that international rules will apply bi matches against the Alaori team in Australia this season. The Management Committee’s agreement will now be referred to the Council meeting. AV EL LI NG TON. June 11. P. Alar Lin Smith, of Wellington has been appointed New Zealand Univer sity Rugby selector in succession to J. N. Millard. Mr. Martin Smith is an exsAVellingiton ami New Zealand University representative player. C. E. Robins, the well-known Marist Brothers Old Boys and AVeLlington Rugby representative player, has been transferred to Auckland, and will leave for the north next week (says the Wcl'ington “Dominion’’).
