Annual Ball A LARGE GATHERING. The Plunket Society, while not favoured with the best uf weather for its annual ball at Schaef s Hall last night, had every reason to be satisfied with the patronage accorded, there being a very large attendance. The gay dresses of those who were attired as Costers and Gipsies made a vivid splash of colour, and lent variety to the assemblage. The piize for the best Costers was won by .Mr F. Thorpy .and Mrs McKechnie, while that for the best Gipsies was won by Mr and Mrs McKay. Air P. Coll was an excellent M.C., and the musit supplied hv the Kit Kat Orchestra .was of the best.
