SCHOOLS’ ASSOCIATION. At the annual meeting of the Schools Soccer Association, Air 11. R. Barrett presided. Mr Barrett was re-elected President and Air W. Wich. Secretary. It was decided to play matches on Saturday mornings in spells of 20 minutes, the opening day for the seniors being June 15th, affd 'the juniors Jude 22nd. It ■was decided to forego the South Island Tournament in favour of Canterbury, owing to a. rugby tournament being held ut Greymouth next August. In anticipation of the South Island Tournament/, it was. decided each school should make individual efforts towards raising the necessary funds. “That this meeting consider (that the Nejy Zealand Council should spent more money on school football and less on the Chatham Cup” wag a resolution passed following a discussion regarding the support accorded school soccer by the New Zealand Council, and the W.F.A., was re quested to convey the. information to headquarters.
