BURGLARY

AT ARMY CITADEL. (Per Press Association). INVERCARGILL, May 27. Between the hours of nine o’clock or. Sunday night and eight o’clock this morning, a burglar forced an entry into a room used as an office in the Salvation Armv Citadel, and stole collections ami offerings amounting to over £l9. Monetary gifts' in envelopes for the past two Sunday . together with Last Sunday’s plate collection were placed in two pouches, and then locked away in a cupboard in the of flee. XVhen ho went to flip citadel this morning, Adjutant Thorne discovered that the office door had been forced open, that, the lock on the cupboard was smashed right off. and that the pouches had been stolon.
