“Po yon think there are many motorists without drivers’ licenses?’’ asked Mr. A. «T. Graham, the president of the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce at a meeting of the chamber recently of Mr. N. H. Mackie, the representative of the Manawatu Automobile Association on that body. “1 am positive of it. There are shoals.” Mr. Mackie replied, adding that there was probably a greater proportion of drivers without licenses in the country than in the city area.
