AUSTRIA’S IDEA To Start an Air Force (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received May 15, ait 10.10 p.m.) V LENA A, May 15. The Heimwchr General Stall' have decided to create a special flying corps. Prince Starhembeirg, who hu.-j recentlv obtained a flying licence, will be Com-niander-in-Chief. The organisation is being entrusted to Captain Brumoosky, the Austro-Hungarian war-time ace. Detachments are being stationed »n every province. Although the possession by Austria of military planes is not yet contemplated, the decision of the Genera) Staff is regarded as being an intimation that Austria is following Germany’s example in tearing up th" Treaty, and also as a test of the Little Entente’s feeling towards the possibility of an Austrian air force.
