A long-delayed Coroner’s infiCii.i'V into the death of Paul aged 47 shopkeeper, of Waverloy, who was shot dead on September Ist by an armed thief, was hold to day- and resulted in Leslie Warburton being committed for trial on a charge of murdering D’asdorff. Detectives gave evidence that Mrs Drasdorff identified Warburton in a line-up of nine men at the gaol. Warburton had taken detectives to the cemetery at Randwick, where he indicated where a pair of rubber gloves and an automatic pistol were lying in the grass.
