AUSTRALIAN PROPOSAL. TO RAISE MONEY FOR EXPORTERS. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) CANBERRA, March 13. The Wheat Commission’s recommendations were before the Federal Ministerial Pary to-day. The Commission suggest that immediate action should be taken to create a home consumption price for wheat, and a compulsory marketing scheme. It is recommended that the home consumption price should be financed by an excise duty on flour. This procedure is already in operation in connection with the current harvest.
