INADEQUATE FOR AVIATION. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. October 19. The ordinary weather forecasting .service as it exists in this country cannut pi etend to meet the demands of according to Dr Kidson, Director of Meterological Services, in an initerview. He /aid that before much regular flying could be done, an adequate service would be required. In his opinion, a commencement should be made at once with the organisation of such a service or otherwise we would be caught without it when it was urgently wanted. Meteorological organisation was an insurance which it would be foolish to disregard. He indicated that, linked up with the meteor.’ogical services, there would be services at the air ports, the main aerodromes and other important points.
