Prohibition shaft: After being re-timbered between ten and eleven levels the shaft was sunk a further 764 ft. making Ithe total depth 2121 ft from the surface. Output: 11.550 tons were crushed yielding 5585 fine ounces of gold from all sources, the value of which, taking gold at current monthly market value, (imoun/ted to £38.623. Working costs were £17,415. leaving a working profit of £21,208. Development expenditure amounted to £2223 and capital expenditure £2954.
