Venables (Christchurch), Mr W G. Harrison (Wellington), Mr F. E'.Hsdon (Timaru), Mr W. B. Macfarlane (Hokitika), Mr M. J. Potts (Hokitika), Mr F. Pannell (Christchurch) Air W. H. Dixon, musical judge at the local Competitions, leaves this morning for Christchurch, whence he will depart to-morrow evening for the North Island on a visit to Rotorua, before sailing for England by the Rangltane on August 31. Mr A. H. Carey, manager of the Bank of New Zealand at Greym-mth will retire on November 30, after 42 years’ service in the bank, the past nine of wh <-h have been spent at Greymouth.
