(Our Own Correspondent.) Miss A. Follard, New Brighton, >. the guest of Mr and Mrs C. Buckman Taylorville. Mr G. Martin, Stillwater, who is ati inmate of the Grey Hospital, is pro grossing satisfactorily. Misses Jean and Joan Dando. Taylorville, are visiting Christchurch. A pleasant surprise party took place at the residence of -Mr and Mrs W Richardson, Wallsend, on Friday evening, the occasion being the birthday of Miss Una Richardson. A most enjoyable evening was spent in games competitions and singing. Amon-j those present were Misses I. Burrell J. Cooper, I). Brnerton, E. Meagher E. and R. Nimmo, J. Lindsay, M. Glen and U. and (). Richardson; Messrs R. Ellery, P. Veale, T. Gutberlet, M. Bennett, A. Hoggarth, R. Moth, G. Meagher, K. Creagh, C. McDonald and A. Wilson.
