FAVOURABLE TRADE BALANCE. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) CANBERRA, .July 31. Commonwealth Statistician’s figures for overseas trade for the year ended June 30 show Australia’s favourable trade balance was £38.325,000. Exports of merchandise was valued at £ < Jo'.‘»9X,ooo, and imports £59.707,000 Experts of bullion and specie were valued at £8,612.000. and imports at £1,275,000. Exports showed a marked decline in June. mainly because of the decreased exports of butter and wool. ULM’S RETURN. SYDNEY, July 31.
