MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSION. SYDNEY, July 20. A terrific explosion, which, the polce believed was deliberately set off, occurred early this morning when a. large quantity of gelignite detonalors exploded in the unemployed relief workers’ depot, Bexley suburb. The depot was blown to pieces. Sheets of iron and tools were hurled hundreds of yards. Windows of neighbouring houses were shattered, ceilings fell in. and shop windows colRosidents of the locality were terrified. Some people, sleeping in beds, were shaken violently as if by arthquake.
