TORNADO DISASTER

20 LIVES LOST. (Ans. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received May 2 at 7.5 p.m.) CALCUTTA, May 2. Twenty were killed and a large number were injured, while considerable damage was done to property by a tornado which passed over Sylhet and its suburbs last night. Numerous houses were blown down, and telegraphic communications were cut. A Government launch and a number of cargo laden country boats sank in the River Surma. Many are reported missisg.
