U.S.A. TRADE COMMISSION
OFFICE TO CLOSE. (per Press Association). WELLINGTON, June 15. The office of the American Trade Commissioner for New Zealand is closing down. Mr Julian Foster, the Commissioner. and Mrs Foster, also Mr Rest. Assistant Trade Commissioner, leave New Zealand by the Mariposa on July Ist. The closing of the office is in pursuance of the United States Government policy of economy. The office of the United States Department of Commerce to which the Trade. Commission is attached, will be closed down in most of the other cities throughout the world.
