N. PLYMOUTH BEQUESTS

SUBSTANTIAL RESIDUE FOR GARDENS. (Pep Press Association). NEW PLYMOUTH, June 14. Bequests made under the will of the late Mr C. S. Sanders, who died at New Plymouth last week, are £lOOO to the Western Park Board, £5OO to the Board controlling the Reserve T; £350 to the New Plymouth Borough Council for a rhododendron dell in Pukekura Park; £250 to the New Zealand Division of the Cancer Campaign; £250 to the Stratford Public Hospital. The residue of the estate, after private bequests, is bequeathed on trust for the benefit of Pukekura Park at New Plymouth. It is understood that the residue will be a substantial sum. Mr Sanders was once the owner of the Ngaere Gardens.
