BUYING SOVEREIGNS
WARNING TO DEALERS. (P p r Press Association). CH RLSTCHURCH, June 13. A warning that gold dealers who did not abide with the coined gold regulation. traded at their own risk, was issued by Afagistrate ALoshy, when lining Thomas Hornsby, a dealer, £•>. with costs on each of two charges for failing to keep a register of transactions a.s denionded by the regulations. The. Alagistrato said the offence- was considered serious, the Act providing for a hue up to £209 or imprisonin'!)!. The police sail that defendant had dealt (extensively in sovereigns and the register had been kept in a slip-shod fashion. Defendant was inclined to treat the law in ;i trivial manner.
