(Own Correspondent.' Air. Rou Nixon, of Barry town, was a visitor to Waimaugaroa during the week end. Air. Juhnston, of Barrytown, was a visitor to Waimangaroa, during the week end. Air. Jim Shearer, of Wellington, is at present on a visit to Mr. Eckersley. The much-looked for hockey match between Rangers and Korauui took pl::rc at Waimangaroa last Thursday and resulted in a draw —two goals each. The game at times was very willing and at no time reached a very high standard. A big crowd of spectators watched proceedings. These two teams arc now level in the competition. Mr. A. V. Last Thursday morning the Incline started at four o’clock in the morning after working to eight o’clock the previous evening. At the dance held in the Elite Teaooms to celebrate the marriage of Mr. and Airs. J. Tinetti, Mr. D. Loder, on behalf of the United Football Club, presented the happy couple with an afternoon tea set. Air. Loder in a neat speech, wished the couple every success in their future life.
