DEBUTANTES’ BALL

Brilliant Pageant The Debutantes* Ball in the Town Hall last evening was pronounced by nil present as being the greatest success so far of the season. The number of debutantes presented to His Lordship Bishop Brodie was thirty-seven. The whole function was brilliant and carried out with a most elaborate attention to details in order that success would be achieved in every department. The hall was tastefullv lai 1

out and was a. veritable bower of beauty, the colourings in the various frocks worn brought out in pretty simplicity the modest whiteness of the dresses of the debutantes.
