WOOL SALES. IMPROVED TONE. (Aus. & N.Z, Cable Assn.) (Received June 13 at 8. p,m.) SYDNEY, June 13. At the wool sales 11,320 bales were offered; 10,112 were sold, 6,348 pri* vately. There was very strong competition in all sections. The American demand was again a dominating feature. Prices generally were very firm at the opening day’s the rates for all descriptions, with a hardening tendency for good spinning wools. Greasy merino made seventeen pence. In June 1932, wool values in Australia were on the lowest level since the depression began. They are now thirty to forty per cent, above that period.
