ROBBERY UNDER ARMS. (Received Juno 9 at 9 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 9. Patrick O’Sullivan, aged 32, was sentenced to fourteen years’ imprisonment for robbery under arms. O’Sullivan’s victim was a taxidriver. The detectives described O’Sullivan as a most dangerous criminal, who would shoot upon the least provocation. FORTY FOUR HOUR WEEK. (Received June 9 at 9 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 9. The Industrial Commission of New South Wales to-day declared fortyfour hours as a standard working week for New South Wales. Tho employees in certain industries will have the right to apply for exemption.
