FRENCH VIEW International Control (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received .June 9 at 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 9. The “Daily Telegraph’s” French correspondent at. Paris, giving a purely French view of the disarmament talk, by wireless, says that M. Daladier's (French Premier) insistence on the rejection of any scheme of mutual assistance between tho European Powers, made it more essential that L’i:im-e demanded automatic and effective international control of armaments. M. Daladier declared that a three or four years’* probationary period must precede any serious reduction in French armaments. The British ami American Governments must be prepared to declare what steps they would take in the event of a violation ot’ any convention negotiated.
