(Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 8. Tlie weather report and forecast are as follows: General situation; Au intense anti-cyclone is moving on to southern New Zealand. Conditions are still disturbed iu the north Tasman and barometers are falling over Eastern. Australia. Forecast: Winds south-west to south-east, still strong mi parts of the East Coast, and freshening somewhat in flic far north; elsewhere, light t„ moderate. Seas (New Zealand waters); Still rather rough south of East Cape, with heavy southerly swell, but. moderating elsewhere, and becoming smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea; Moderate southwest in south-east winds, -with smooth to moderate seas. Weather; Isolated showers on the East Coast and in the far north, otherwise fair to cloudy. Temperatures cold, with many frosts.
