GOLDEN HARVEST DOCKED. (per Press Association). WELLINGTON, June 8. The damaged steamer, Golden Har- ( I vest, was docked to-day for repairs. DOCK NOT YET RAISED. WELLINGTON, June 8. Although the Golden Harvest is in i the dock, the dock itself has not yet I been raised. A diver is occupied in inspecting the vessel to ensure that she will lie securely on the blocks. Until the vessel is lifted, no further j information can be gained respecting the damegc she has suffered. This will be late in the afternoon
Docking Completed HULL BADLY DAMAGED. AV E’. LIN GTO N, Ju n c 8. The docking o f the Golden Harvest has been completed and revealed fair ly extensive damage to the hull. There are several holes forward, and plates have been dented and sprung lor a considerable distance sternwards. Agents intend to call tenders for re pair. It is unlikely complete permanent repairs will be made in New Zealand.
