Prospecting.—Prospecting was carried on at Mullocky Creek and a fair amount cif ore discovered, carry ing gold, but not of sufficient value to be payable Stoping.—Stoping has b<en carried on as usual, the faces showing very little change. Gold Returns. —The battery during the period crushed 4;>5 tons of ore, for a return of 370 ozs 11 dwts of melted gold. The ryanid e plant treated 330 tons of sands for a yio M o/f 115 ozs 15 dwts of bill lion. Report for November.—No. 3 Level: South Drive off Main East Levi at 197 feet from Shaft.—Extended ll f ft,« total 50ft. Drive is now being carried in along the continuation of the lode track intersected on the south side of the fault at. 33ft from the main level. Lode track is well defined, and carries a little quartz which gives prospects oif fine gold. Rise above South Drive off Main East. Level at 197 ft from Shaft: A rise was commenced on the lode in the South Drive, at a point 8 feet in from the Main East Level, and advanced 24ft, including a out or stop to the not th of sft. The stone in the lower part of the rise had a width o'f 2ft, and gave fair prospects of gold; but towards top of rise pinched to a f--w inches and rising was temporarily suspended. North-east Branch Drive off Main East Level: This drive is being put in to pick up the downward continuation of Henderson’s block above No. 2 adit, and also the northerly continuation of the lode being driven on in the South Drive oft" Atain East Level at 197 ft ’from shaft. Favourable looking slate and sand stone country is being passed through. North-cast Crosscut off Northwest Branch Drive at point 115 ft from shaft (Jon-'s’s Reef) —Extended 8 feet, total 13 feet. Nothing of value was met with am] driving was suspended.
