ON N.S.W. FINANCES. LONDON, September 21. In consequence of Air Stanley Bruce (Australian Alinistor at London) having a talk with their financial writers, most of the daily papers devote considerable space to reviews of Australia’s financial recovery, especially as to the transformation which Air Stevens has effected in New South Wales. The “Financial Times” says: “Mr Stevens’ budget statement ha.s made an excellent, impression, and should greatly simplify and assist in the coming loan conversion.” The “Morning Post,” in an editorial, after commending as remarkable the progress of New South Wales since the dismissal of Air Lang, says: “The past two years’ history of this State provides a classic example of the politicians’ power for good or evil in economic affairs.
