CHINA’S PROTEST. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. September 19. The Secretariat of the League of Nations published the text of a note to the President of the Extraordinary Assembly, received from the Chinese Government, which condemns the policy pursued by Japan, to detach Manchuria from China. It adds: The. Chinese Government remains as over ready to discuss an equitable solution to the dispute, and requests the action of the League to be hastened, and measures devised Io ensure respect for decisions, already takeh by th e Extraordinary Assembly.
