(Ter Press Association 1 ) WELLINGTON, May 3. The weather report and forecast are as follows:—General situation: The recent cyclone has disappeared eastwards, and a slight wave of low pressure has been passing in the south. An anti-cyclone lies to the westward, its centre being over Victoria. Forecast: Winds variable, but moderate to fresh, southerly prevailing. Seas (N.Z. waters): Still a swell south of East Cape, but otherwise smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate southerly winds and moderate seas. Weather mainly fair, but some scattered showers, more especially in eastern and southern districts. Cool night temperatures, with inland frosts.
