Th directors of the Bank of New Zealand announced to-day that the profit for the year ended March 31, 1932, was approximately £587,000, a reduction of £258,000 on last year. Subject to audit, it is proposed to make the same distribution as last year. The amount to be distributed is £817,908 (including the interim divident paid in December) as follows: —Out of net profits, £587,000; out of balance of profit, £026,000; earned forward from last year, £230,968. The balance to bo carried forward to next year is approximately £395,000. The distribution w’Jl be made in New Zealand currency.
