In consequence of representations of the Chambers of Commerce and outer businessmen, Lord »Sainkey uas drawn up new rules designed to reduce the cost of litigation and to simpb’y the hearing of law cases. Certain classes of cases arc to be definitely excluded from the new procedure, including libel, breach of promise and cases where the plaintiff alleges fraud, but the solicitor for the plaan tiff -will in future be entitleci to as> that other classes of cases shall ocj tried according to the simplified pro eedure.
